Beginning as a Little Free Library Neighborhood Initiative in Cleveland’s Slavic Village, Hough Reads has empowered residents of Hough and Ward 7 to find unity in literacy since 2017.

We partner with flagship community organizations to transform the neighborhood’s mindset. So far, Hough Reads has donated x books to x children, dedicated x hours to reading aloud at public events, and inspired x functionally illiterate adults to change their lives.
